OUR COLD PROTECT FABRICS

The Willskin® Cold Protect range is made up of technical textiles that meet the NF G07-107 and NF EN ISO 11092 standards.

NF G07-107 : Adiathermic power (AP) is the ability of a fabric or an insulating complex to oppose the passage of heat. Also called the thermal insulation index of a fabric, it corresponds to the percentage of energy preserved by the presence of the fabric on the body to be insulated. This means that the higher the AP, the more the material insulates the user from the cold. 

NF EN ISO 11092 : This is a standard concerning test methods in the field of clothing comfort. The tests it describes are those of thermal resistance (Rct) and resistance to water vapor in steady state (Ret). The Rct corresponds to the temperature difference between the two faces of a material and the Ret corresponds to the difference in water vapor pressure between the two faces of a material.
